| Abstract (English): |
The objective of this study is to identify the attitude of young Saudis towards marriage preparative programs, through a descriptive study of a sample of students at King Saud University in Riyadh, the variable was measured through the development of a scale (prepared by the researcher) which commensurate with the nature of the Saudi family. It consists of (21) sentences, and used the method of social survey of a random sample (310) male and female students at King Saud University in Riyadh. Findings showed that young Saudis have high awareness of the importance of these pre-marriage programs. Although the majority of respondents have no information about these programs, they emphasized the need for these programs before marriage. Such results give a strong indication of young people>s awareness regarding the importance of these programs, and also indicate an awareness among young people of issues that fall after the marriage and the strong will to avoid them. هدف البحث إلى التعرف على اتجاه الشباب السعودي نحو البرامج التأهيلية للزواج، من خلال دراسة وصفية لعينة من طلاب وطالبات جامعة الملك سعود بالرياض، وتم قياس هذا المتغير من خلال تطوير مقياس ( من إعداد الباحثة) بحيث يتناسب مع طبيعة الأسرة السعودية، ويتكون من (21) عبارة، واستخدم البحث طريقة المسح الاجتماعي بعينة عشوائية بسيطة حجمها (310) طالب وطالبة في جامعة الملك سعود بمدينة الرياض، أظهرت نتائج البحث وعي الشباب السعودي بأهمية البرامج التأهيلية لما قبل الزواج، حيث أوضحت النتائج أن اتجاه الشباب السعودي نحو البرامج التأهيلية للزواج اتجاه إيجابي، ومع أن غالبية المبحوثين ليس لديهم معلومات عن هذه البرامج إلا أن غالبيتهم أكدوا على احتياج المقبلين على الزواج للبرامج التأهيلية قبل عقد القران، مما يعطي مؤشراً قوياً على وعي الشباب بأهمية هذه البرامج، ويدل على وجود وعي لدى الشباب بالمشكلات التي تقع بعد الزواج والرغبة في تفاديها.
