The article focuses on the creation of truss structure which contain a piezoelectric actuators and sensors. This structure was designed by the large flexible space structures to be a testbed for the evaluation of potential control techniques for a structural performance of active damping. It undergo several tests to determine its liability of application. The test reveals that the dynamics of the structure had ensure that flexible structure will always be stable regardless of mode it exhibit. |
