Chapter 1 of the book "Ecological Issues" is presented. It exlores the environment of Africa. The three major regions that divide the continent are the northern plateau, central and southern plateau and eastern highlands. Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya are the two largest mountain peaks in Africa. Large expanses of Africa are covered by grassland plains called savannas. |
