مستخلص: The introduction of a GNU/Linux-based desktop system in a large company is often problematic, in terms of technical issues but especially for employees’ training costs. Mainly, these obstacles are represented by different hardware configurations that might require several ad-hoc activities to adapt a standard release to the specific environment, including company’s application profile. On the other hand, GNU/Linux live distributions provide to the users’ community new and interesting capabilities, as self-configuration and better usability, but loosing compatibility with original distributions, that is unaffordable in professionals scenarios. DSS (Debased Scripts Set) is an answer to both questions. It is a live distribution that includes an unmodified Debian-based Linux release and a modular-designed file system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
