The present communication deals with the medicinal plants, which are used by the people of Mizoram, as local remedies. Extensive ethno-botanical survey were conducted to the entire area of Kolasib district of Mizoram and collected valuable information of 37 plant species belonging to 29 families and their uses in various human ailments in the district.
