مستخلص: The article focuses on a study which described the establishment of in vitro skin equivalents composed of primary cells or cell lines to assess the role of genes essential for skin organogenesis, tissue regeneration and homeostasis. Identification of the origin of compounds involved in epidermal tissue reconstitution was facilitated by the cells obtained from mouse and human tissues leading to the precise analysis of growth regulatory mechanisms.
