مستخلص: |
The article presents a case study of an 8-year-old castrated male, wirehaired dachshund with intermittent facial twitching (myoclonus). It mentions that the myoclonic episodes continued more than a period of 16 months with infrequent generalized seizure activity. It mentions that a stimulated myoclonus is evident in clinical examination while response to treatment with antiepileptic medication was equivocal. Genetic testing determines that the dog was affected by Lafora disease. |
