مستخلص: The innovative education presupposes education freedom. However, an examination of our current education shows that freedom has been greatly squeezed out of our education. Guided by such notions on education as rationalism, utilitarianism and secularization of its function, the current system of education, paying little attention to a comprehensive, independent and free development of personality, has deprived the education receivers of their freedom to develop their individuality. This has led to a host of mistakes in the current education sector, including a misplacement of life goals, an absence of emotional education, and negligence in helping students embrace a right ideology. These mistakes have greatly undermined the sanctity and sublimity of education. Detrimental to our innovation education, they have also impeded the implementation of the policy to educate innovative talents and build a creative country. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
