The article discusses a microarray analysis of the expression profiles of microribonucleic acids (miRNAs) in brain tissue following focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. Real-time PCR was conducted to confirm the microarray data. The study showed that miRNAs can regulate bcl-2 and caspase-3 expression in brain tissue following cerebral ischemia. |
