| مستخلص: | The synthesis of a potent competitive LTA4hydrolase inhibitor(A, Ki=1.6 nM) prompted an investigation into the biological activity of Aagainst LTB4biosynthesis, as well as the design, synthesis, and evaluation of a new series of inhibitors Bto further probe the active site of LTA4hydrolase. On the basis of these results, and previously reported site‐directed mutagenesis and inhibition studies, the mechanisms of peptide and epoxide hydrolysis catalyzed by LTA4hydrolase are discussed. |
