مستخلص: Metal phosphorus trichalcogenides, as a novel class of two-dimensional (2D) materials, attracted a lot of attention due to its antiferromagnetic ordering, excellent catalytic activity, and intrinsic electrical and optical properties. Herein, the FePS3nanosheets exfoliated from the bulk counterpart by the sonication assisted liquid-phase exfoliation were applied in the photoelectrochemical-type (PEC) photodetector. The FePS3-based photoelectrode displays a short response time (rising time of 256 ms and decay time of 279 ms), large photocurrent density (3.2 μA cm–2), responsivity (31.94 μA cm–2W–1), excellent long-term stability (more than 1000 s), and wide band detection (365–730 nm). Benefiting from the unique 2D structure of the FePS3nanosheets and the flexibility of the PET substrate, the fabricated photoelectrode can maintain an outstanding photodetection performance after 500 cycles of bending and twisting. Furthermore, the PEC photodetector with a flexible sandwich structure was fabricated to make it more portable. This work promotes the application of 2D FePS3nanosheets in optoelectronics and is of great significance to the practical application of the PEC device.
