مستخلص: Abstract: The effect of 132Xe27+ion (167 MeV) irradiation at angles of 20°, 30°, 60°, and 90° to the tape surface is studied. The critical parameters of the second-generation superconducting tapes are explored. The tapes on the based of the GdBa2Cu3O7 – xcompound are produced by SuperOx. The critical current (Ic) at 77 K in self magnetic field and the critical temperature (Tc) are plotted as a functions of ion irradiation fluence at different irradiation angles. A minor (up to ~5%) increase in the critical current of high-temperature superconducting (HTSC) tapes is observed for all studied irradiation angles for fluences in a range from 3.4 × 108to 5 × 109ions/cm2. The radiation resistance of the superconductor to ion irradiation is determined as a function of the irradiation angle. The threshold irradiation fluence Φthis measured to determine the radiation resistance of the tape. This is the value at which the critical current approaches zero.
