| الوصف: | Dissertação de mestrado integrado em Arquitectura (área de especialização em Cultura Arquitetónica) O Solar de Vila Garcia é o objeto de estudo da presente investigação. Trata-se de uma Casa que foi residência rural e segunda habitação de uma família da alta sociedade portuguesa. Vivendo do cultivo do território que regia, de onde recebia todos os proveitos, a casa seria o local de armazenamento e transformação dos produtos. A história deste solar foi marcada por ideias, vontades e gostos de época que a foram transformando, fazendo dela um caso singular no estudo da arquitetura portuguesa. Este edifício foi originalmente habitado por um antepassado da linhagem Bacelar; pouco ou nada se sabe do seu desenho original. Contudo, o traçado denuncia transformações formais que nunca foram documentadas de forma escrita ou desenhada. O princípio condutor desta dissertação centra-se na vontade de retratar a história construída do Solar de Vila Garcia. Esquematizaram-se questões do foro morfológico dos vários períodos que atravessou e reconstituiram-se as fases estratificadas, enquadrandoas num período histórico-artístico. Compreendeu-se a base vernacular do Solar e a sobreposição dos estratos quinhentista e setecentista, neste processo evolutivo, a partir das ferramentas ao dispor da investigação -análise bibliográfica da casa nobre; levantamento arquitetónico, com peças rigorosas bi e tridimensionais; observação e proposição formal, comparação com casos coevos. Findando com um conjunto de indicações acerca do valor patrimonial das várias partes da Casa, corpos das conclusões desta investigação, pretende-se contribuir para uma ferramenta projetual de intervenção futura no Solar. In this investigation the case study analysed is the Manor of Villa Garcia. It was once a rural house and a secondary house of a Portuguese high-class society family. Living off the cultivation of the land it reined, where all the income was received, the house was just the place to store and transform the products. The history of this manor was marked by ideas, wishes and the tastes of the time period in which it was being transformed, making it a unique case study of Portuguese architecture. An ancestor of the Bacelar lineage originally inhabited this building, little or nothing is known of its original plans. However, traces of these transformations can be seen but have never been documented, in writing or drawings. The starting point of this investigation concentrates on the will to portray the constructive history of the manor of Villa Garcia. Simplifying questions of morphological disorders of the various periods it came across reconstituting the stratified phases, framing them in a historical-artistic period. The vernacular base of the manor was understood and the superposition’s of the sixteenth and seventeenth century strata, this evolutionary process, from the tools available to the research literature -analysis of the noble house; architectural survey, with strict parts two and three dimensional; observation and formal proposition, compared with Cuevo’s cases. Coming to a close with a set of instructions on the equity value of the various parts of the house, the bodies of the conclusions of this research are intended to contribute to a future project intervention tool in the manor. |
