Within the treatment modalities, core stabilization training is indicated in the literature as an effective option for pain relief in this population, however, the adequate volume of this training to induce analgesia in this population remains unknown. Thus, the objective of the present study was to evaluate the effect of a high and low volume core stabilization training session on endogenous pain modulation in women with DLCI. Methodology: This is a randomized crossover trial that is blind to the evaluator. Eighteen volunteers participated in the study, who underwent two sessions of core stabilization training: high and low training volume, respecting the 48-hour interval between each session. The variables evaluated were pressure pain threshold (PPT), temporal summation (TS) and conditioned pain modulation (CPM) before and after the performed of low and high volume training protocols. The LDP and ST were evaluated with digital pressure algometer, to evaluate the MCD the pressure algometer and ischemic compression with sphygmomanometer was used as a conditioned stimulus. A 2x2 repeated measures ANOVA was performed to compare training and time, the Bonferroni post hoc test for pairwise comparison of the interactions (time and training). Data were expressed in mean and standard deviation and the significance established in 5%. Results: Statistical analysis showed that when comparing pre and post intragroups, the low volume core stabilization training showed significant increase in LDP at L5 (p
