| الوصف: | Museums have become strategic elements of development, given its ability to regenerate deprived areas, as well as to promote the image of the cities receiving. This is why, in an attempt to overcome the crisis caused by industrial restructuring in recent years, the city of Langreo (Asturias) opted for a cultural policy focused on the rehabilitation and reuse of industrial heritage museum purposes. In these pages we will look at two interventions that have resulted in putting up Steel Industry Museum and the City Art Gallery “Eduardo Úrculo”. Los museos se han convertido en elementos estratégicos de desarrollo, dada su capacidad para regenerar zonas deprimidas, así como para potenciar la imagen de las ciudades que los acogen. Es por ello que, en un intento de superar la crisis motivada por la reconversión industrial, en los últimos años el Ayuntamiento de Langreo (Asturias) ha apostado por una política cultural centrada en la rehabilitación y reutilización de su patrimonio industrial con fines museísticos. A lo largo de estas páginas analizaremos dos intervenciones que han dado lugar a la puesta en marcha del Museo de la Siderurgia y la Pinacoteca Municipal “Eduardo Úrculo”. |
