الوصف: Cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) has the inherent capability to perform tissue characterization, assessment of disease severity, myocardial inflammation, ventricular function, perfusion and fibrosis without radiation exposure. All these advantages of CMR can be perfectly well applied in interventional cardiovascular magnetic resonance (iCMR) providing high-quality images during interventional procedures. CMR, as an innovating imaging technique, can (1) provide reliable information about the pattern of myocardial perfusion-fibrosis in both ischemic and non-ischemic heart disease and (2) guide the traditional interventional procedures. iCMR, by using excellent tissue imaging, can create a surrogate for direct visualization and offer multiplanar views and real-time functional imaging without ionizing radiation. These images can facilitate the utilization of interventional procedures and promote the innovation of new interventional approaches.
