الوصف: Introduction: Uncontrolled Severe Eosinophilic Asthma (USEA) represents a challenging health problem. Characterize variables that predict poor control in this patients to will improve its management. The aim was identify the factors of poor control of severe eosinophilic asthma. Methodes: Were collected 78 patients of our Asthma Severe Unit. Were selected only patients with peripheral eosinohiplia >220 according the findings of Wagener et al. Finally, were obtained cellularity in sputum, peripheral eosinophilia and values of IL of TH2, TH1 and TH17 pathway, periostin and ILC2. Results: Conclusions: Patients with USEA have more sputum neutrophilia, age, required more inhaled steroids and adult onset asthma. Depending on the variable of poor control, the predictive factors are different. The only poor control variable related with sputum eosinophilia and neutrophilia was exacerbation. And also, sputum interleukins: high levels of IL-8 and low levels of IL-17 are related to exacerbated patients.
