The effects of therapeutic exercises in individuals with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis still remain controversial, mainly regarding the prescription of resistance exercises for strengthening. The lack of robust evidence regarding muscle strengthening can negatively influence the viability and quality of the rehabilitation process of these individuals Thus, the objective of this systematic review is to analyze the existing evidence and verify the effectiveness of physiotherapy methods and techniques for muscle strengthening in individuals with ALS.
