الوصف: This work deals with the study of the migration rate of rabbit cells in collagen and fibrin gels. It has been shown that dermal fibroblasts more actively migrate in collagen gel, whereas in fibrin gel bone-marrow stromal cells do. In the study of activities of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) that are synthesized by cells in the process of cultivation, MMP-2 activity in cells of both types was established as being higher during migration in collagen gel, while MMP-9 activity was so during migration in fibrin gel. The different cell migration rates may be due to the cell properties, to the activity of their synthesized MMP, and to the effect up this process of the cell microenvironment (collagen or fibrin).
