الوصف: The aim of the presented design was to reconsider the conception of Boleslaw Manor garden reconstruction. The residence is situated in southern Poland on the border of the Silesia Upland and Cracow-Czestochowa Jura. The area is polluted with zinc and lead as a result of mining and refining ores rich in those non-ferrous metallic elements. As starting point a spatial description of the area is given. Environmental, landscape, utilitarian, and functional analyses were carried out. Both pedestrian paths and roads were carefully studied. Numerous native plant species well adapted to local conditions were chosen for the needs of the design, among them ecotypes which can be used for purifying the environment from heavy metal contamination. The species were assembled according to their dimensions, color scheme, and flowering terms to compose individual categories, so that the whole composition would become attractive from early spring until late autumn.
