الوصف: The presence of low concentrations of histamine or the stable thromboxane analogue U46619 and the removal of the epithelium separately and addictively increase the sensitivity of isolated human airways to methacholine. This raises the possibility that these factors play a role in the pathogenesis of bronchial hyperresponsiveness to inhaled methacholine in asthma.
