الوصف: In comparing nuclear fusion in plasma by the magnetic confinement with nuclear fission andchemical reactions, the power density and the function of a heat engine are discussed using a newparameter G introduced as an eigenvalue of a reaction and the value of q introduced to estimate thethermal efficiency of a heat engine. It is shown that the fusion reactor by the magnetic confinementis very difficult to be a modern heat engine because of the lack of some indispensable functions as amodern heat engine. The value of G and q have the important role in the consideration.
