الوصف: 1592 Background: VitD deficiency is a common occurrence in the UK, affecting nearly a quarter of British women. Emerging data suggests that this proportion may be higher in pts with EBC; however, screening and vitD supplementation is currently not recommended in this population. This study was carried out to assess the prevalence of severe vitD deficiency in an ethnically diverse UK EBC cohort and its association with tumour indices and clinical outcomes. Methods: Serum vitD levels were prospectively recorded in a consecutive cohort of pts with newly diagnosed EBC presenting to our oncology department from 2006-2010. Severe vitD deficiency was defined as serum total 25-hydroxyvitD
