الوصف: Introduction: The prognosis of COPD patients is compromised by different comorbidities. There are only few data concerning chronic kidney disease (CKD) in these patients. We therefore analyzed CKD patients in the German COSYCONET cohort. Methods: CKD was defined by an eGFR Results: 2140 patients (60.7 % male) were analyzed, 161 (7.5 %) had CKD. There were no differences in gender distribution or pack years. CKD patients were older (72.24 ± 6.60 versus 64.09 ± 8.27 y) and showed higher FEV1 (61.04 ± 17.7 %pred versus 57.56 ± 21.2 %pred p = 0.019), less ITGV %pred (132.1 ± 34.83 vs. 143.73 ± 37.42 p Conclusion: COPD patients with CKD should receive special attention to detect other comorbidities.
