| الوصف: | Acute viral hepatitis as well as typhoid fever is still a significant problem in tropical countries like India. Both have a common route of infection and may cause co-infection. In a patient with symptoms of acute liver failure and/or post icterus persistent high-grade fever with acute abdomen, always suspect co-infection of hepatitis E and typhoid fever in tropical countries and appropriate management can avoid life-threatening complications. |
