Inter-radar interference of automotive chirp sequence radar can be a serious problem for their dense deployment in near future. There are two major inter-radar interference problems, i.e., narrow band interference causing ghost target detection and wide band interference causing miss-detection of the targets. This paper proposes a ghost target cancellation scheme using periodical interference sensing for automotive chirp sequence radar. Computer simulation results validate the proposed technique can suppress the ghost target in the frequency spectrum domain for target detection.
