الوصف: The δ 13 C compositions of heterotrophic microorganisms are dictated by the δ 13 C compositions of their organic carbon sources. In both modern and ancient photosynthetic microbial mats, photosynthetic exudates are the most likely source of organic carbon for heterotrophs.
