الوصف: Attribution theory suggests that when reasoning about the causes of events people assess whether a person can control an event or not. The emotion of anger might be one cue that can influence whether an event is perceived as controllable or not (Weiner et al. 1982). Perceived controllability is a key variable predicting whether people adopt goals an take action in many domains. In this study the link between the salience of anger and perceived controllability is explored experimentally in the context of protection of environment / sustainability. In a vignette experiment participants will be confronted with short descriptions (in different situations) of behavior that have a negative impact on the environment. They will be asked about perceived controllability and intention to act.
