الوصف: Electromagnetic suspension development requires a good understanding of the dynamics of all rotor subsystems in all operational modes. One of the most useful approaches is creation and investigation of a computer model of rotor dynamics that takes into account the main factors affecting system behavior. In order to analyze the dynamic effects occurring due to seismic disturbances and due to nonorthogonality of the disk of an axial active magnetic bearing (AMB) and rotation axis, we improved a previously developed computer model of the dynamics of a complex flexible rotor on AMBs. In this letter, we investigate dynamic effects caused by seismic disturbances and the structural deviations caused by nonorthogonality of the disk of an axial AMB and the rotation axis. In normal operation mode, structural deviations could lead to a substantial increase in the amplitude of rotor oscillations when passing critical frequencies. Structural deviations lower the threshold of friction coefficient, which, when surpassed, leads to a backward rolling action of the rotor on the mechanical retainer bearings.
