الوصف: Peak to average power ratio (PAPR) deemed as a stumbling block degrades the performance of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) in the underwater acoustic system by causing various issues like saturation, nonlinear distortion, and superposition of the signal spectrum within the high-power amplifier(HPA). With regard to tackling these issues, we put forward an efficient hybrid approach for limiting the PAPR issue in underwater acoustic OFDM system. Simulation results reveal that this approach manifests good performance as compared to traditional approaches in terms of PAPR mitigation.
