الوصف: Scanning light-beam propagation in media with cubic non-inertial and thermal inertial nonlinearities is investigated. The scanning leads to a decrease of the thermal nonlinearity action, up to a weak perturbation against the cubic nonlinearity background. As a result, soliton-like transmission of a light beam through a nonlinear medium is realizable.
