The article represents an essay study on the results of observation, case studies and literature review held at the12th Summer School at the Elena Grzegorzewska University in Warsaw, initiated and coordinated by the UNESCO JanuszKorczak Chair based on a UNESCO project. The research presented and discussed at the summer school, as well as the trainingactivities were related to ensuring gender equality and children’s equality through liberal and conservative discourse, withsocial and linguistic implications. The specific references to good school practices in the current Polish context, but also to theproblems facing current pedagogical research challenge the readers of the article to discover some problematic aspects and toexpand their horizon and the perspectives of approach to the themes analyzed by the authors.
