| الوصف: | Amaç: YouTubeTM video paylaşım platformu, bireylerin sağlıkla ilgili bilgilere erişmek için kullandıkları birincil kaynaklardan biridir. Bu çalışmanın amacı YouTubeTM’da Türkçe olarak bulunan ‘yer tutucu’ konulu videoların içeriklerinin değerlendirilmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: YouTubeTM’da ‘yer tutucu’ sözcük çifti ile Türkçe olarak arama yapılarak erişilen ilk 140 video uzman bir çocuk diş hekimi tarafından değerlendirildi. Video süresi, görüntülenme, beğenme ve beğenmeme sayıları ve yüklenme kaynakları kaydedildi. Videoların içeriği Amerikan Çocuk Dişhekimliği Akademisi’nin belirlediği kriterlere göre değerlendirildi. Yarar düzeyine göre gruplar arasındaki ortalama farklar normal dağılım gösteren veriler için bağımsız örneklem t-testi, normal dağılım göstermeyen veriler için MannWhitney U testi ile video yükleme kaynakları ile video içerik parametreleri ise Fisher-Exact testi ve Ki-kare testi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Video özellikleri ile skorları arasındaki ilişki Spearman Korelasyon Analizi kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: 140 videonun 25’i (% 17.9) değerlendirme kriterlerine uygun bulunarak analiz edilmiştir. Ortalama video süresi 215.2 ± 409.5 saniye, video görüntülenme sayısı 13834.5 ± 37821.4, beğenme sayısı 54.1 ± 137.5, beğenmeme sayısı 5.4 ± 18.4 olarak tespit edilmiştir. 9 (% 36) videonun az yararlı, 16 (% 64) videonun ise orta düzeyde yararlı olduğu görülmüştür. Ortalama skor 3.88 ± 1.39 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Toplam video skoru ile video özellikleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı gözlenmiştir (p > 0.05). Sonuç: YouTubeTM video paylaşım platformunda ‘yer tutucu’ ile ilgili Türkçe videoların sayısının oldukça az, mevcut içeriklerin ise yetersiz olduğu görülmüştür. Yer tutucular ile ilgili olarak kullanıcıları doğru ve eksiksiz bilgilendirmek amacıyla daha fazla sayıda ve daha kapsamlı video içeriklerinin üretilmesi gerekmektedir. Background: YouTubeTM is one of the primary sources used by individuals to access health-related information. The aim of this study was to evaluate the content of the videos on 'space maintainer' in Turkish on YouTubeTM. Methods: The first 140 videos accessed by searching YouTubeTM in Turkish with the word 'space maintainer' were evaluated. Video duration, numbers of views, likes, dislikes, and upload sources were recorded. The content of the videos was evaluated according to American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry criteria. The mean differences between the groups according to utility level were determined by the Independent sample t-test for normally distributed data, the Mann-Whitney-U test for non-normally distributed data; video sources and content parameters were evaluated with Fisher-Exact and Chi-square tests. The relationship between video features and scores was evaluated using Spearman Correlation Analysis. Results: Of the 140 videos, 25 (17.9 %) were analyzed, which were found to be suitable for the evaluation criteria. The mean video duration was 215.2 ± 409.5 seconds, the number of video views was 13834.5 ± 37821.4, likes was 54.1 ± 137.5, and dislikes was 5.4 ± 18.4. It was seen that 9 (36 %) videos were less useful and 16 (64 %) videos were moderately useful. The mean score was calculated as 3.88 ± 1.39. It was observed that there was no statistically significant relationship between the total video score and the video properties (p > 0.05). Conclusion: It has been observed that the number of Turkish videos about the 'space maintainer' on the YouTubeTM is quite low, the existing content is insufficient. More comprehensive videos should be produced in order to inform users accurately and completely about space maintainers. |
