This is an evaluation of an initiative by UNC Charlotte to develop and test a “Funds to Finish” intervention aimed to reduce attrition and promote on-time graduation for students who are at-risk because their academic trajectory and their financial resources are misaligned. Key elements of the initiative include the development of an index to identify at-risk students, a planning and advising intervention, and an implementation plan to test the initiative’s effectiveness.
