The article considers the theoretical views of automobile cargo transportation on the impact of distance on cost of cargo transportation. Presents the solution the task of organization and planning of transportation of bricks on pallets by automobile transport in the city, obtained the results of calculating the production cost for cargo transportation in a individual day of work according to the adopted transportation plan, installed the dependence of the production cost from increasing the distance of cargo transportation.
