Likely native of India or Sri Lanka; it is spread on all continents through human introductions. In Equatorial Guinea it has been recorded from Annobon at San Antonio outskirts (Map 36B). Comments. Recorded in Annobon by Jesus et al. (2003) at the surroundings of San Antonio, under rocks. It is a species complex (Sidharthan et al. 2022). Specimens examined. No specimens of this taxon have been found in the examined collections.
