الوصف: Objectives: The French Cancer Plan 2014-2019 targeted to reach 60% of HPV vaccine coverage While estimates published by Health Authorities focus only on cumulative VCR by birth cohort, the PAPILLON study aimed to estimate HPV VCR from 2016 to 2022 using French National claims database through several indicators: age-specific initiation rates, full schemes, and cumulative VCR Methods: All patients recorded in the claims database who initiated HPV vaccine in 2016-2018 were included Estimations of annual HPV vaccine initiation rates were carried out on 11-14 (target population) and 15-19 year-old girls (catch-up) Cumulative VCR at a given age were estimated on girls aged between 11 and 19 at the time of first vaccination Partial scheme was defined by the dispensing of at least one dose of HPV vaccine, while full scheme was defined by two or three dispensing of doses over an 18-month period, according to current French recommendations Results: Among 611,606 women who initiated HPV vaccination between 2016 and 2018, the initiation rate has increased from 7 3 to 11 1% in 11-14 year-old girls, and from 4 7 to 6 5% in 15-19 year-old girls In 2016, 2017 and 2018, cumulative VCR for partial scheme at 15 years old was 26 1%, 28 2%, and 32 8%, respectively, while at 20 years old it was 48 6%, 41 6%, and 38 8% Cumulative VCR for full scheme was 14 1%, 15 6% and 18 6% at 16 years old, while it was 31 6, 25 9 and 23 6% at 20 years old Conclusions: HPV VCR significantly increased between 2016 and 2018 (+6 7%), providing positive signs regarding resumption of vaccination This increase is more significant in the target population vaccination than in catch-up vaccination Longitudinal follow-up will provide updates of these VCR until 2022 A potential impact of the COVID19 lockdown could be expected on the VCR
