الوصف: A variety of devices used in daily life and biomedical field will generate magnetic fields with different parameters, raising concern about their influences on people's physiological functions. Multiple experimental works have been devoted to the influences of magnetic fields on circadian rhythms, yet the findings were not always consistent due to the differences in magnetic field parameters and experimental organisms. Also, clear regulatory mechanisms have not been found. By systematizing the major achievements in research on magnetic and circadian rhythms based on magnetic flux density and analyzing the potential mechanisms of the magnetic fields affecting circadian rhythms, this review sheds light on the effects of magnetic fields on circadian rhythms and the potential applications in biomedicine.
