Hematopoietic Stem and Progenitor Cells In article number 2103838, Xiao‐Ming Yang, Chang‐Yan Li and co‐workers identify a critical regulator‐HEMGN, that is required for hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) homing, survival, and reconstitution of blood cells during bone marrow transplantation (BMT). HEMGN acts as a protector which limits interferon‐γ (IFN‐γ) signaling by suppressing nuclear Stat1 tyrosine phosphorylation and assists HSPCs to combat the transplantation stress. Targeted Hemgn may be used to improve conditioning regimens and engraftment during bone marrow transplantation. [Image: see text]
