Fibromuscular dysplasia (FMD) accounts for 5–10%of renal artery stenosis. The majority of cases (90%)involve the media. Loin pain haematuria syndrome ischaracterized by loin pain, which is often severe andunrelenting, in association with haematuria of glomer-ular origin. We report a case of medial hyperplasiawith dissection of the renal artery, where the patientpresented with loin pain haematuria syndrome withouthypertension.
