الوصف: We report here on the development of a method to induce a stroke in a specific location within a mouse brain through the use of an optical fibre. By capturing the emitted fluorescence signal generated using the same fibre it is then possible to monitor photochemical changes within the brain in real-time, potentially reducing the requirement for post-operative histology to determine if a stroke has successfully been induced within the animal.
