| الوصف: | [要約] 本研究では，摺漆施工に関する科学的な知見を蓄積するために，摺漆の塗装回数が木材物性に及ぼす影響を明らかにすることを目的とした。千葉県産スギ材に摺漆施工し，摺漆の塗布回数と吸湿性，および鉛筆引っかき硬さとの関係を調査した。吸湿試験の結果，吸湿量は想定されたものより少なかったものの，塗装回数の増加は吸湿量の抑制に寄与することが示唆された。鉛筆引っかき硬さは，塗装回数が４～５回目で凝集破壊が生じやすく，それより少ないか多い塗装回数では，塗膜の変形が木部の変形に追従しやすい傾向を示した。以上のように，塗布回数は木材の物理的諸特性に影響することが示されたものの，より科学的な知見に基づく特性を明らかにするためには更なる調査が必要であると考える。 [SUMMARY] The present study aimed to clarify the effects of number of times of Japanese lacquer finishing on wood physical properties in order to develop a technique of suri-urushi, a Japanese lacquer finishing method based on scientific evidence. We investigated the relationships between the number of Japanese lacquer finishings and moisture absorption and pencil hardness of Japanese cedar wood coated by suri-urushi finishing. Moisture absorption test suggests that although the moisture absorption of samples was small as expected in the experimental design, increasing of number of finishes reduces moisture absorption of wood. In the Pencil hardness tended, the cohesive failure was likely to occurred in four-or-five times finishes. In more or less finishing time, the deformation of coating film by pencil follows those of wood, leading surface of wood became relatively harder. Overall, we revealed that the number of times of finishing affect wood physical properties, but further research is needed to accumulate the scientific knowledge about suri-urushi. |
