| الوصف: | The contribution deals with some of the early infrastructure in the psychology of religion, in particular with the Zeitschrift für Religionspsychologie, founded 1907 by the psychiatrist Johannes Bresler (1866–1942) und the theologian Gustav Vorbrodt (1860–1929). The engagement of the two first editors in the psychology of religion is described briefly, as well as the impact of the later editors: Georg Runze (1852–1938), a scientist of religion from Berlin, and Otto Klemm (1884–1939), an assistant of Wilhelm Wundt in Leipzig. The relationships to similar contemporary journals like The American Journal for Religious Psychology and the Archiv für Religionspsychologie are briefly addressed, as well the question, why they suffered a similar fate. |
