In the current thesis, we aim to understand the mothers' point of view on how health nurses affect the mothers conduct of an everyday life and self-understanding. We aim to reach a user perspective by making qualitative interviews with four mothers. We have used critical psychology as a theoretical base, that will reflect our whole process, method and conclusion. We include some of the founders, such as Klaus Holzkamp, Ole Dreier, Vibeke Jartoft and Morten Nissen. Our work concludes that the health nurses on some mothers have positive effect and on others can have a negative effect on their self-understanding and conduct of everyday life. Furthermore, we conclude that future research about health nurses should be based on a qualitative cooperation between researchers and practice, but it is also essential to involve the user perspective.
