La propuesta desarrollada está basada en este trabajo de grado, busca implementar las medidas de transito correctiva que conlleven a mejorar el tránsito y el transporte del Municipio San Gil ubicado en el Departamento de Santander, teniendo en cuenta el crecimiento de población y de infraestructura de una manera acelerada que no dio espacio a las autoridades Político Administrativas planearan de manera detallada un correcto crecimiento que permitiera una articulación entre vías, nueva infraestructura, transporte en sus modalidades de público y privado y lo más importante el transeúnte o ciudadano de a pie. Mediante los análisis de los estudios realizados en este proyecto logramos establecer una alternativa de solución con la cual se logrará la descongestión vial en esta Municipalidad tanto en sus vías internas como en las vías nacionales que conllevan a él. Toda vez que el crecimiento poblacional habitantes fijos y latentes, así como el desarrollo urbanístico no se vienen trabajando en proporcionalidad con la capacidad de la malla vial existente, para lo cual se dispuso unas metas de corto, mediano y largo alcance, incluyendo además las empresas privadas que están en esa jurisdicción y que son una de las mayores causantes del deterioro prematuro de las vías por sus constantes traslados de vehículo pesado sobre las vías. BIBLIOGRAFÍA ............................................................................................................. 39 The proposal developed is based on this degree work, seeks to implement corrective transit measures that lead to improve traffic and transportation of the San Gil Municipality located in the Department of Santander, taking into account the population and infrastructure growth of a accelerated way that did not give space to the Political Administrative Authorities to plan in a detailed way a correct growth that would allow an articulation between roads, new infrastructure, public and private modes of transport and, most importantly, the passer-by or ordinary citizen. Through the analysis of the studies carried out in this project, we were able to establish a solution alternative with which the road decongestion in this Municipality will be achieved both in its internal roads and in the national roads that lead to it. Since the population growth of fixed and latent inhabitants, as well as urban development have not been working in proportion to the capacity of the existing road network, for which short, medium and long-range goals were set, including companies private ones that are in that jurisdiction and that are one of the main causes of the premature deterioration of the roads due to their constant transfers of heavy vehicles on the tracks.
