| الوصف: | Dichotomous keys are resources or tools that researchers, teachers or other personnel linked to the study of biological sciences use for the determination of diff erent species of organisms, by comparing two exclusive characters. The investigation proposes diff erent dichotomous keys, illustrated in electronic format, for the identifi cation of diff erent aquatic and terrestrial vertebrate taxa present in Cuban fauna that includes orders, families, genera and species, and that are in correspondence with the Zoology Program’s General II (Zoology of the chordates), which is taught in the Degree in Biology Education at the Central University “Marta Abreu” of Las Villas, in the Republic of Cuba. Various theoretical and empirical methods were used in the investigation in their dialectical interrelation which allowed identifying the existing defi ciencies and proposing the solution. Th e information for the diagnosis was obtained from the application of diff erent instruments, such as document review, participant observation, pedagogical test, case study, student survey and expert evaluation. In order to mitigate the diffi culties detected, and with a view to introducing for the fi rst time the illustrated dichotomous keys for vertebrates in electronic format in the Bachelor’s degree in Biology Education, they were developed and subjected to expert criteria that assessed them as relevant. Las claves dicotómicas, son recursos o herramientas que los investigadores, docentes u otro personal vinculado al estudio de las ciencias biológicas, utilizan para la determinación de distintas especies de organismos, mediante la comparación de dos caracteres excluyentes. En la investigación se proponen diferentes claves dicotómicas ilustradas en formato electrónico, para la identificación de diferentes taxones de vertebrados, acuáticos y terrestres, presentes en la fauna cubana que incluye órdenes, familias, géneros y especies, y están en correspondencia con el Programa de Zoología General II (Zoología de los cordados), que se imparte en la carrera de Licenciatura en Educación Biología, en la Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas, en la República de Cuba. En la investigación se emplearon diversos métodos teóricos y empíricos en su interrelación dialéctica, los que permitieron identificar las carencias existentes y proponer la solución. La información para el diagnóstico es obtenida a partir de la aplicación de diferentes instrumentos, como revisión de documentos, observación participante, prueba pedagógica, estudio de casos, encuesta a los estudiantes y evaluación de expertos. Para mitigar las dificultades detectadas, y con vistas a introducir por primera vez las claves dicotómicas ilustradas para vertebrados en formato electrónico, en la carrera de Licenciatura en Educación Biología, se elaboran las mismas, las cuales fueron sometidas a criterios de expertos que las valoraron de pertinentes. |
