Taking the case of ?Mutir?o Campo Alegre?, the research seeks to highlight the historical importance of this occupation, starting from the individual colective memory built during the first years, as well as the daily resistance processes that made it possible for the ocupants to remain until now. Establishing this discussion, the dissertation seeks to highlight the recurring violations of dues suffered by claimants of land, exercised in the most diverse form, as well as their attempts at resistance. Their mobilization and organization thus, contemplating the social agents involved and their forms of fight A disserta??o objetiva analisar o surgimento e reincid?ncia de ocupa??es de terra na regi?o da Baixada Fluminense, no estado do Rio de Janeiro, entre o final da d?cada de 1970 e in?cio dos anos 1980. Tomando o caso do Mutir?o Campo Alegre, situado parte no munic?pio de Nova Igua?u e parte em Queimados, a pesquisa busca ressaltar a import?ncia hist?rica dessa ocupa??o, a partir da mem?ria individual e coletiva constru?da durante os primeiros anos, assim como os processos de resist?ncia cotidiana que possibilitaram a perman?ncia de parte dos ocupantes na terra at? os dias atuais.
