Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, Türkiye’deki gençlerin sosyal dışlanmanın ekonomik boyutundan ne derecede etkilendiğini tespit etmektir. Ek olarak, gençlere yönelik sosyal içerme politikalarının, ekonomik dışlanmayı önleyici nitelikte olup olmadığının araştırılmıştır. Türkiye’deki gençlerin istihdam ve işsizlik oranları göz önünde bulundurulduğunda, ekonomik dışlanmaya maruz kaldıkları ifade edilebilir. Araştırmada, konu ile ilgili kavramların literatür incelemesi yapılmıştır. Aynı zamanda ulusal ve uluslararası kurumların raporları ile ikincil verileri toplanmıştır. Elde edilen ikincil veriler, betimsel analiz yöntemiyle analiz edilmeye ve değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler yardımıyla uygulanan politikalar yorumlanmış ve politikaların etkinliği için tavsiyelerde bulunulmuştur.Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde sosyal dışlanmanın kavramsal çerçevesi anlatılmıştır. Kavramsal çerçeve, sonraki bölümlerin açıklanması açısından önem arz emektedir. İkinci bölümde Türkiye’deki gençlerin ekonomik anlamda sosyal dışlanmasına ilişkin veriler incelenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Son bölümde ise gençlere yönelik sosyal içerme politikalarına yer verilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonuç ve öneriler kısmında politikaların verimliliği tartışılmış ve önerilere yer verilmiştir. The aim of this study is to understand to what extent young people in Turkey are affected by the economic dimension of social exclusion. Furthermore, it has been investigated whether social inclusion policies for young people prevent economic exclusion. Considering the employment and unemployment rates of young people in Turkey, it can be stated that they are exposed to economic exclusion. Within the scope of the study, a literature review of the concepts related to the subject was examined. At the same time, reports and secondary data of national and international institutions were collected. The secondary data to be obtained were analyzed and evaluated with the descriptive analysis method. Based on the data found, the policies implemented were interpreted and recommendations were presented for the effectiveness of the policies.In the first part of the study, the conceptual framework of social exclusion is explained. The conceptual framework is pivotal for the explanation of the next chapters. The conceptual framework forms the basis for the next chapters. In the second part, the data found on the social exclusion of young people in Turkey in economic terms were examined and interpreted. In the last part, social inclusion policies for young people are included. In the conclusion and suggestions, the efficiency of the policies were discussed and suggestions were given.
