الوصف: In spatial fictions, the architect's design and zoning regulations contribute considerably. No matter how much the architect imagines, he has to design under certain rules. Although most of these rules contribute positively to urban construction, some criteria, uncertainties, or open-ended items reflect negatively on the design. Zoning regulations valid in all urban construction are updated quite frequently in our country. These updates are one of the reasons for unplanned construction by causing different structures in the parcel with the same conditions. A review was conducted on articles 5, 20, 22, and 29 of the regulation, which is updated frequently and causes differences. The implementation differences of the planned areas zoning regulation dated 25.07.2019 and the past regulations numbered 30113, 30196, and 30701 were examined. Structuring conditions and spatial design requirements were examined and their application styles were evaluated. The contributions of added plan notes to spatial planning have been investigated. The positive and negative rules applied were evaluated with the examples in Suleymanpasa District of Tekirdag Province. This study was done to emphasize that it is very important for regular urbanization and structuring to keep zoning regulations unchanged in the long term. © Peter Lang AG 2020.
