El siguiente documento plantea, desarrolla y expone el estudio de red referente a una cooperativa de transportadores colombiana identificada como: Cooperativa de Transportadores Jorturbay. En base a las necesidades de crecimiento y en busca de una mejor estructuración, se realiza un estudio para identificar toda característica tanto física como lógica de la red actual y de esta manera dar paso a la planificación, diseño y simulación de una red corporativa que permita suplir las necesidades actuales y permita la comunicación de sucursales actuales y sucursales nuevas. La red debe generar confianza y por ello se debe implementar una red confiable la cual se caracteriza por ofrecer tolerancia a fallos, escalabilidad, calidad de servicio y seguridad en el tráfico de datos. El documento cuenta a grandes rasgos con 5 capítulos distribuidos de la siguiente manera: El capítulo 1 lo conforma una serie de conceptos, significados, material informativo e información relevante útil para identificar el contexto y de esta manera ubicarse en una postura adecuada para comprender toda base de conocimiento necesaria para interpretar el desarrollo del documento, este capítulo se encuentra titulado como marco teórico. El capítulo 2 titulado como: Caracterización de la red física y lógica actual correspondiente a la Cooperativa de transportadores Jorturbay, compila información necesaria para realizar un primer diagnóstico de la red, dicho diagnóstico está basado en la recopilación de información como lo son el estado de red, la distribución, el número de componentes tecnológicos y otros factores que describen el estado de la infraestructura. En base a los datos obtenidos se da fundamento a las razones y las necesidades que posee la cooperativa de mejorar su red. Finalmente, el capítulo 3: Componentes físico-lógicos necesarios para implementar una red que tenga alta disponibilidad y seguridad, junto al capítulo 4: Diseño de una red Físico-lógica para la Cooperativa de Transporte Jorturbay, y el capítulo 5: Simulación de la red físico-lógica propuesta. Based on the growth needs and in search of a better structure, a study is carried out to identify all physical and logical characteristics of the current network and thus give way to the planning, design and simulation of a corporate network that meets the current needs and allows the communication of current branches and new branches. The network must generate trust and therefore a reliable network must be implemented, which is characterized by offering fault tolerance, scalability, quality of service and security in data traffic. The document has roughly 5 chapters distributed as follows: Chapter 1 is made up of a series of concepts, meanings, informative material and relevant information necessary to identify the context and thus have an adequate position to understand any knowledge base necessary to interpret the development of the document, this chapter is entitled as a framework theoretical Chapter 2, titled as: Characterization of the physical and logical network of the Cooperative of Jorturbay transporters. It collects the necessary information to carry out a first diagnosis of the network, this diagnosis is based on the state, the distribution, the number of technological components and other factors that describe the state of the infrastructure, based on the data obtained, the reasons and needs that the cooperative has to improve its network. Finally chapter 3: Physical-logical components necessary to implement a network that has high availability and security, together with chapter 4: Design of a physical-logical network for the Jorturbay Transport Cooperative, and chapter 5: Simulation of the physical network -proposed logic.
